The work as a project manager involves being in daily contact with people in what we call the machine project (i.e. designers, programmers, installer etc).
The project manager leads and motivates the participants of the project in order to achieve the set goals. The work often entails problem solving where you as project manager assess and select the path of the project. This could be technical, financial, administrative and personnel based, such as planning, following up and risk management. In addition, it is important that a project manager ensures that set project times, costs and quality objectives are met.
A project manager within our company must have completed technical university education and supplementary education within project management.
