Comprehensive maintenance services for freight cars and locomotives

We boost our customers’ competitiveness by improving the reliability, availability and service life of their rolling stock. We offer extensive maintenance services in the workshop, at our four service stations, at our customers’ premises or out in the field. Our offer covers all types of vehicles for freight transport rolling stock, locomotives, different types of freight cars and special rolling stock, as well as related components. In Leipzig, we offer, among other things:

• Maintenance, testing and reprocessing of high-cost components, including change of wheels on loaded freight cars
• Spare parts services
• Inspection, maintenance and cleaning of tanker carriages
• Emptying of pressure gas containers
• Cleaning of graffiti
• Refurbishment and adaptation of freight cars – from design to implementation
• Repainting of freight cars

At our workshop in Leipzig, we have access to mobile service teams for emergency repairs. The mobile unit works trackside, on-site at our customers’ premises or at strategic loading sites.
 
We also have service stations in Berlin-Wustermark and in Wolfsburg in Germany.

Extensive maintenance offer for efficient freight transport
Euromaint Rail’s workshop in Leipzig has an area of 25,000 square metres and access to 10 kilometres of track. It has 258 employees.

The workshop has access to efficient mechanical equipment and modern installations for the cleaning and emptying of tanker carriages. By coordinating maintenance and cleaning efforts, we cut down the lead times for our customers' rolling stock.

Certificates
Euromaint Rail’s workshop in Leipzig is approved by a number of goods wagon owners, e.g. DB Schenker Rail GmbH, the members in the VPI and AAE. The workshop has the following quality certificates and licenses.

• Quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001 (TÜV Management Service)
• Environmental management system according to DIN EN ISO 14001 (TÜV Management Service)
• Permit as EML vehicle workshop for maintaining freight cars and auxiliary vehicles (EBA)
