EuroMaint Industry is changing its strategy for new manufacture of tools and, as a result, is issuing redundancy notices to 10 employees in Huskvarna.
In order to develop a competitive business for new die-casting tools, EuroMaint Industry has decided to adopt a changed strategy that means that in the future it will not process components involved in the new manufacture of tools, but instead will purchase such services externally. The aim is to increase flexibility in production and so create a stronger offering.
As a result, the company has been forced to issue redundancy notices to 10 people in Huskvarna, both salaried employees and workshop employees. Co-determination negotiations have commenced.
