EuroMaint Industry's subsidiary Eisab has been commissioned to install two 15 MW oil-fired boilers and associated pipework for Halmstad Energi och Miljö.
Halmstad Energi och Miljö produces electricity and energy in the form of hot water, for instance, for the district heating networks of Halmstad Municipality, and has the capacity to supply up to 80 per cent of Halmstad's district heating needs. In order to meet peaks in energy production, the company has decided to install two 15 MW 'peak load' boilers.
EuroMaint Industry's subsidiary Eisab has been commissioned to supply a turnkey contract that includes design, construction, assembly and installation of the boilers and chimneys with associated gas flues.
"We currently have a rolling framework agreement with EuroMaint Indystry’s subsidiary Eisab. We chose them as our partner for this venture because of their extensive experience of installations and turnkey contracts," explains Peder Hörup, Project Manager at Halmstad Energi och Miljö.
This assignment also includes delivery of oil storage tanks and associated pipework for bio-oil.
"This project suits us down to the ground. We have installed a number of similar boiler systems and specialise in assembly of industrial pipework for all kinds of media. We are extremely pleased to have been entrusted with this assignment by Halmstad Energi och Miljö and look forward to being able to offer reliable operation for this part of the facility," says Jörgen Bengtsson, Project Manager at Eisab.
The project is due to be completed in February 2011.
